Freddie’s Finds Dogmanitarianism.

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

~Winston Churchill

How can I get involved? How can I help animals in my community? These are questions every philotherian asks themselves. Well, the good news is there are many ways an animal lover can make a difference. We at Freddie’s Finds have partnered with three programs that have done and are doing tremendous work in saving and preserving precious lives.

Helen Woodward Animal Center

Helen Woodward Animal Center’s passionate belief that animals help people and people help animals through trust, unconditional love, and respect, creates a legacy of caring. Sharing this philosophy with others, the Center inspires and teaches, locally and globally, the importance of the animal-human bond. They provide a variety of services that benefit the community through educational and therapeutic programs for people, and humane care and adoption for animals. A no-kill facility that receives no government funding and relies heavily on tax-deductible contributions from private donors to continue their life-saving mission.

Potomac Valley Pekingese Club

Potomac Valley Pekingese Club, Inc., is a tax-exempt corporation, whose objectives are to, rescue, protect and place homeless Pekingese, and to serve the breed by enhancing public understanding, encouraging responsible ownership and providing fellowship with fellow owners or fanciers of the noble, historic Pekingese breed of dog.

Luv A Chin Rescue Inc.

Luv A Chin Rescue is a non-profit rescue group whose purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, neglected and surrendered Japanese Chins. many of these Chins have been rescued from life in a puppy-mill or commercial kennel where their only purpose was to reproduce so they could supply puppies to pet stores and online sellers. These dogs, once rescued, are provided with the attention, care and medical treatment necessary including spaying/neutering, until a forever loving home can be found. Through the commitment of our volunteers, we also focus on educating the public regarding puppy mills and responsible dog ownership. At the current time Luv a Chin Rescue volunteers are located throughout the Midwest and the eastern United States but have Luv A Chin adopters throughout the U.S.

We work with shelters, rescues and non-profits in many different ways! The best way to connect Freddie with them is to have a representative from their organization email us,  He will reach out to them as soon as his paws receive their information!
